Ko Te Akonga Hakari Koe
Class Hakari
Our Hakari was on Maori Language Week/ Tena Koa..
On the 14th of September, we had started setting up the day of Te hakari.
We were as excited as ever! The red decorations were set all around the class
room. The preparation was easy. We sliced te hei-hei me aporo me panana
me miti. We blew up te whero parunu and tied the parunu on te raina. Then we
went into setting nga tepu. Then we did te korero tohutohu(instructions) for
setting nga tepu. We finally finished setting them! It was much fun doing te
mahi. Then everyone got into nga roopu o wha(groups of four) and set of to te
hakari! Mmmmmm! All I heard was Tikinga, homai, whakahokia, he aha te rere
mahi mo, he aha te kupu moari mo.

Waitangi Treaty Grounds.. So realistic!
In week 10 we went to the Waitangi Treaty Grounds and we explored the different species of trees. We also discovered different experiences with Kauri. We made projects on Kauri. We chose specific subjects on Kauri and made a project on them. We had played on Virtual Reality, SculptGL etc. By the way, our experiences are on the clip I'm going to show you! ENJOY!!
