I read a explanation text about Astrobiology Finding Extraterrestrial Life. It was pretty hard to figure out the main ideas and a summary but it was worth the while. Hope you enjoyreding my summary. understand but it was the most interesting text I've ever read.

THE HOLIDAY CATASTROPHE

I am learning to use good connectives between paragraphs

To be successful I will:

           -Separate my main parts (intro, main events, reflection) with phrases that show or hint at
the passing of time.

• Use dialogue (it is a clever way to show passing of time)

I show I was successful because I put much effort and participation into my work. I have

done everything from above and excluded anything unnecessary.

The Holiday Catastrophe...

“Mum, I don’t want to catch these , beastly looking chickens!!” I shouted. “ Oh well, you have too! That's the only way to make the chook farm look smaller! Now grab the chicken by the legs and shove it in the cage… NOW!!” “Fine but i’m not grabbing more than one. Im telling you now” I murmured to myself.

As I grabbed  the chicken up from the legs, the wings flapping around like my twin cousins in the bath.  The chicken screaming her head off like a gun was pointing straight at her! I trashed it to the ground. I thought she bit my arm! “Tuesday afternoon and I’m already doing work!” I moaned loudly.

How should I pick the angry chickens up without getting scratched or hurt?? “Hmmmm…” I inspired to myself. Ooh I know! I can grab them by the wings so the can’t flap there featherless wings at me!  I giggled. Matt, another man that works for the farm, said “ You know you can grab the chickens by the neck?” “ But doesn’t that hurt the chicken’s throat?” I reacted. “Not at all” Okay then that my task tick off my list.. “What else do I do to make work easier?”

“I’m doing more work than all you adults. Get a move on!” I said to every other person in there helping. Two, three, four , five more than the rest… I can’t wait till this is done! I went to the kitchen, to get a drink, and the manager Lee came back from Onerah. I was about to go back and  another friend Eva came back and she said that there is only about 24 chickens left! I sprinted past shed 5 then shed 7. I finally got to shed 8 to catch or stare at others catching chicken( probably just watch them.) When I got there the was 8 more left. At first I was like NO! Less work to do.. Then I was like YAY! Less work to do. Finally, we were finished . Like every other day we went home but me and my godmother went to town to see my twin cousins Alaye (L.A) and Creation (Creation).

When I think back that was the scariest but funniest 2 days of my life! I can’t  wait for another…   I can wait it was horrible! But I can’t wait for another day of catching ugly, loud, uncontrollable chickens! I’ll at some stage forget all about it so I can’t say I will never forget that day, (but i’ll say it anyways,)I’ll never forget that day!

The best 3 hours of my mechanical life!!

In  term 1 Me, Neil, Ben and Hilda- Jean went to Epro8. It's a science/mechanic challenge that you build for 2 hours. We built a bed base and a solar panel light with a big loud buzzer. That night was the best!!!!
